South Brisbane | 550m2 Office Refurbishment
Echo Projects Co partnered with i2C Architects to bring their Brisbane Studio to life, creating a dynamic, collaborative workspace designed to embody creativity, connection, and culture.
The fitout involved the transformation of a raw tenancy into a vibrant, functional studio that balances refined craftsmanship with expressive design. Echo Projects Co managed the full construction delivery, coordinating complex joinery, integrated lighting, and layered finishes that bring texture and warmth to the space.
A key feature of the build is the central bar and social hub, constructed with custom joinery and detailed finishes that blend seamlessly with the surrounding workspace. Acoustic treatments, bespoke workstation layouts, and integrated AV infrastructure were carefully delivered to meet the evolving needs of a collaborative design practice.
Throughout the fitout, sustainability and wellbeing remained a priority, achieved through the use of biophilic materials, natural light, and lush greenery. The inclusion of murals by Indigenous artist Rachael Sarra grounds the space in local identity and connection to Country.
The completed studio reflects i2Cโs vibrant culture and design philosophy, creating a modern workplace where creativity, community, and craftsmanship come together.
