Holland Park West | Medical Space

This warm and character‑rich medical project transformed a cold shell house in Holland Park into a fully functional healthcare space while preserving the unique charm of the original building. The project involved restoring the existing hardwood timber floorboards and heritage fireplace, both of which now serve as defining features that anchor the clinic’s welcoming, residential feel.

New amenities, a staff kitchen, and thoughtfully designed consultation and treatment rooms were constructed to meet the operational needs of the practice. In line with the client’s vision to honour the building’s history, we leaned into the playful candy‑stripe timber floors, carefully sanded and polished, to celebrate the character of the home and bring a sense of warmth and personality to the space.

The result is a medical space for Gender Health Australia that feels calm, and approachable, blending modern clinical functionality with the softness and authenticity of a restored Queenslander.
